I finally got ONE!!!
I know this is supposed to be about my first day but I have yet to start. But Ted told an ex-CAT art teacher about me and she actually wanted to be my mentor. She even said, and I quote, ‘you sound like a dream come true’. Haha, I feel awesome. After much rejection hearing that was like cake after tofu night.
So, since I can’t talk about my first day I’ll just talk about what i’m going to be doing. She works from 9-2 on Wed. but also stayes after to prep and such, but she knows I have double hours to fill so we’ll work it out. Now that I actually have an internship im pretty confident I can find a way to stretch out the hours. I’ll be working with 4th, 5th and 7/8th graders and generally jsut helping them in class and doing sample projects, keynotes, all that jazz. Im happy to be in a relaxed environment like an school, but connecting with those kids in a way I can help them is gonna be hard.
I’ll be nice even if it kills me, though. I know this is important.

It happened again….. >[
I had the perfect internship in my grasp; the art teacher @ Impact was totally interested. It was only 10 minutes away!!! It was exactly what I wanted and right at the last damn minute he says no!
This always happens, some douch says hes seriously interested, waits 2 weeks until the deadline and @#%$ing cancels on me.
*sigh* I dont know what to do!
Hi Gina
Nobody has gotten back to me yet on an internship, but never fear! I will eventually find someone who wants me D:
Anyway, in order of preference these are the fields I would be interested in:
-Art
-Drama
-Animals
-Inventing/making stuff
-Teaching (hopefully art)
